Devikalyan Das

I am a graduate student at Universität des Saarlandes in the department of Visual Computing. My research interest lies in the intersection of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning towards designing algorithms for efficient understanding and rendering of the 3D scene around me. I did my masters thesis at CVMP in collaboration with MPI-INF under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eddy Ilg and Dr. Jan Eric Lenssen on 3D reconstruction from monocular non-rigid scenes.

Currently, I am working at GRL group at MPI-INF under the supervision of Dr. Jan Eric Lenssen on dynamic point templates. Previously, I was a Research Fellow at NIT Surathkal, where I worked with Dr. Shyam Lal on designing Automated Cancer Detection System using Deep Learning algorithms.

I am excited about leveraging my expertise to explore new frontiers in Visual Computing, and am actively seeking exciting opportunities. Apart from academia, I like reading books, playing flute, and travelling.
